And then go off when you release it..Ideally, you want that light to come on when the machine is completely blocked with your finger/hand, and go off when released..It can take a little playing with the screw to get the sweet spot.
If you cant get it exactly right, you can disable the blockage light by turning the screw a little further clockwise, this means the light doesn’t come on at all when you block it.Not recommended, but a workaround if you have a particularly sensitive machine.. Refit the top cover and you should be good to go..
